There will be a vax-work exhibition in Jurmala
On July 15 in Jurmala Culture centre exhibition hall in Dzintari, Street Turaidas 11 there will be a vax-work opening exhibition from Vax-work museum collection from St. Petersburg.
This waxwork exhibition represents famous politicians, musicians, artists, film stars and other worldwide fame persons, such as Bill Gates, Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt, Josef Stalin, Fidel Castro, Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Vladimir Putin, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, Richard Gere and many others. In this exhibition there is no matter to time, nor place, nor geographical situation, nor specific accents to personalities represented- everything blends together into one and unite image.
Quoting to the given information by the curator of this exhibition Armen Arutjunjan, for this vax-work exhibition were working a team of professionals – the historians were investigating the sources of history, contemporary evidence, portraits, photographs, engraving, death masks, in order to find out the most information about the human appearance. For its part sculptors, makeup artists, tailors, shoemakers, hair-dressers and other professionals were working on that the vax figures would comply with their prototypes.
The opening of exhibition - July 15, 6 P.M. Daily from 11 A.M. till 7 P.M.until September 5.
