Tourist number in Jurmala is increasing (0)

According to CSB (Central Statistical Bureau) data about visitors who spent night in Jurmala places of accommodation in the 1st half of 2010 was 43 970, that is 14% more than last year for this period. From all tourist 39% are Latvia’s inhabitants and 61% - foreign country guests.

From 9th to 10th of September in Latvia’s health resort city – Jurmala an international conference ECAD will take place. ECAD (European Cities Against Drugs) is a non-commercial organization with an aim to make Europe a continent free of drugs. The main office is located in Stockholm, Sweden, but many departments and representations – more then in 30 countries. Jurmala became a member of ECAD few years ago.
