Cooperation with The Admirality region of St. Peterburg

- 2002, 9th of August - Argeement Project of cooperation from The Admirality region of St. Peterburg side was recieved.

- 2002, 3rd to 8th of November - representatives of Admirality teritory municipality came to Jurmala- vice chief of territorial administration, the head of school municipality, the head of youth politic municipality department and 45 young people.
 
- 2003, 26 to 31 March was held in Jurmala City Council, management, government, business and creative responses to the visit to St. Petersburg Admiralty administrative district in which it was held in Jurmala local government representatives to a meeting with the St. Petersburg Admiralty District President, the Vice-President of the school management and the External communication, education, tourism, economic, social committee representatives. A meeting was also attended by Consul General in St. Petersburg and the Ministry of Jurmala entrepreneurs. During the meeting, signed a cooperation agreement between the St. Petersburg Admiralty administrative district and Jurmala City Council.
 
- 2004, 12th to 14 of October - Delegation from Jurmala took part in fair "CIS - Inwetex" with their tourism stand and during the fair they also meet with representatives of The Admirality region of St. Peterburg.
 
- 2006, August - Similar as in 2005 International Art forum „ Art Unites” took place in Jurmala and all twin-cities of Jurmala were invited including The Admirality region of St. Peterburg. The goal of event is to develope dialoge between Latvian and other cultures, spread of information and also promote culture and personal comunication between Jurmala and its twin-cities. During forum is intended a dissccusion about modern art, exchange of experiance and dissccsion about futher cooperation projects.
 
- 2006, September - In Jurmala was a conference between twin-cities of Jurmala where represenatatives of twin-citie municipality including St. Peterburg were invited.
 
- 2006, 24th to 27th of May - Because of „Days of St. Peterburg” delegation from Jurmala visited The Admirality region of St. Peterburg in Russia. Delegation of Jurmala city counsil was leaded by vice-chairman D.Urbanovics.The meeting was dedicated to development of mutual cooperation between cities, as the main point beeing mutal bound in education culture. Delegation of Jurmala acquainted with pozitive experiance of the Admirality region in coordinating free time spending of young people, equipmenting schools and inner yards of city. On 25th of May exhebition „Russians in Jurmala” opened in Youth house of Admirality and representatives of municipalities from both sides and also Counsul General of Latvia in St.Peterburg Iveta Dene took part in exhebition. During visit of delegation of Jurmala in The Admirality region of St. Peterburg pupil Exchange trips between both cities were dissccused. From The Admirality region of St. Peterburg school Nr.235 was recieved an invetation to Jurmala music School to participate in their annual music concert.
 
- 2007, 1st to 6th of August - International Art forum „ Art Unites” in Jurmala, where artist from St. Peterburg took part, a member of aquarellist community and A.I.Gercena Russian University artgrafhic faculty teacher Olga Sajunova, who made a lot of artworks, which were exhibited in Bulduri Culture house exhebition „Summer in Jurmala ”.

  

- 2008, 28th to 31st of August - Days of St. Peterburg took place in Jurmala and because of that different culture events, official meeting, business matchmaking, methodical seminar and friendship football game between youth football teams of both cities were organized. During conference official dissccution „St. Peterburg and Jurmala: looking for new ways of cooperation” between Jurmala city counsil and leaders of municpality of St. Peterburg and also business matchmaking of Jurmala and St. Peterburg. Guests offered wide culture programm- exhebitions, concerts, cinemas and theatre. Exhebition „Tolerance” was opened in Kauguri Culture house, but at Jurmala city Counsil will be exhebition of modern Russian literature. Representatives from Jurmala in the field of education in methodic seminar „Modern methodics in teaching Russian language” where it will be able to find out about the newest tendentions in language training. Specialy to kids in theatre of Jurmala performances „Gooses, Shwans and Witches” and «Īkstīte» was shown. A.Kracilsikov exhebition „From St. Peterburg to St.Peterburg” took place in Majori Culture house. Russian movie selection was included in Culter house repertory- „ Officers,gentlemen. Save the emperor”, „Alexandra”, „Indigo”. In Majori Culture house theatrical performace was shown- lirical comedy „Pa-de-de”. Popular D.Goloscekin jazz orcestra gave concert in Kauguri Culture house, but in small hall of Dzintari concerthall was a concert in honor of days of St. Peterburg in Jurmala.

  

- 2010 11th until October 15 was held in Jurmala days in St. Petersburg. The event was held in Jurmala city council and the district of St. Petersburg Admiralty cooperation signed by LR Domestic news support. Jurmala City council official delegation representing the Jurmala City Council Chairman G. Truksnis, Deputy Mayor of Economic Development and M. Dzenite, as well as tourism and the External Relations Division representatives, public relations experts, Jurmala entrepreneurs, photographers and creative team "Arabesque".

- October 11, 2010, Jurmala City Council delegation met with the Admiralty district manager N. Gordejevu and department heads. During the meeting discussed the social sphere and development, urban planning and cooperation, including cooperation in the EU cross-border programs. Similarly, the delegation also visited the Admiralty district social facilities.

- October 12, 2010, Jurmala Days of Communications was held at the Museum exhibition "Ode to my City" discovery, creative concert and press conference with the participation of leaders of the two administrations. Holiday concert, which was dedicated to the detection of Jurmala days in St. Petersburg, participated in children's choreographic collective "Arabesque" (Jurmala) and St. Petersburg Admiralty district collective creativity of children.

- 2010 13th For the LR Domestic news took place at the premises of tourism professionals and entrepreneurs working meeting, which was presented at the winter and offer New Year celebration program in Jurmala, as well as investment projects in tourism in Jurmala. LR Embassy premises was opened in Jurmala artist exhibition.

- October 14, 2010 in Jurmala city official delegation, together with the business community attended the resort area of St. Petersburg, where he met with the local administration management, as well as visited the hospital.

During the period from October 15, 2010 13.līdz Jurmala was represented in the Latvian tourism booth in the exhibition "Inwetex-CIS Travel Market 2010 exhibition hall Lenexpo.
